I am a physician and photographer. While studying medicine, I also trained as a photographer under Rudolf Holtappel, a renowned theatre and industrial photographer based in Germany’s Ruhr region. I subsequently began working as a professional photographer at various theatres.

From 1998 onwards, I worked as a physician at several hospitals in Oberhausen, Ratingen and Duisburg, completing my specialist training in internal medicine and rheumatology.

At the same time, beginning in 1998, I worked as a photographer at various theatres in Düsseldorf, Moers, Oberhausen and Essen. My main areas of focus are stage photography and portraits of actors.
